Gaslight by Doctors

At first, it was fine. Everything was fine even though my intuition made me uncomfortable of that office.

It was until the procedure was done was the issue. The doctors and nurses are gaslighting me. First the office did not tell me what I was looking for or signs of infection.

Then I was having pains but they said oh its normal to have cramping and everything else when I reached out.

Then another doctor answered my doctors messages talking about if your in pain and it is to much to stand go to the hospital and this was before the 2 week appointment. I was trying to get answers in which I did not.

Then, I messaged again recently that hey the antibiotics is not working. I do not feel any better just for them to pretty much gaslight me and tell me that hey we expect cramping. I'm not even cramping. I am in pain like it is throbbing from the infection style type pain.

Like the doctor didn't even do the swob test. He only did a UTI test but he did not even bother doing the swob test for BV. All he did was clear me from restrictions. He also did not prescribe or treat anything for my PCOS in which I have this on top of adenomyosis.

I have been suffering since I came home and it has almost been a month. February 14th will make one month. They said I can feel effects from 1 month all the way up to 3-6 months. He did not mention this at the appointments prior to the procedure. This is not right.

They said this would be a quick and easy process. They said that I would only be down for about a week or two.

No one said the heal time would be months. No one really explained anything to me except the endometrial ablation. He said he is going to go in, dilate the cervix, use a device to go inside and burn away at the adenomyosis tissue. He did not really explain anything else after the fact but once we got to the 2 week check up then he let on that it can actually take months to heal.

The hysterectomy, I got knew about. I was going to be down for 4-6 weeks as if I had a child but this. I did not even get incisions and I am apparently going to be down for a lot longer.

They won't even schedule me in but want me to go to the hospital for it.

According to google, I was suppose to contact my doctor and they were suppose to switch antibiotics since it does not feel it is working.

I am schedule to see another OBGYN that I scheduled months ago before I went to this office and hopefully I can get some relief but I am going to end up going to the ER for this though.

In time like these you have to become your own advocate. You have to speak up, reach out and get answers you needing and treatment you deserve. If you do not feel like something is right, you are going to have to do something about it. Speak up and Speak out.

Endometrial ablation, Bacterial Vaginosis, vaginal Infections |Women vaginal health

Something they do not tell you after the Endometrial ablation  is that you may end up getting an infection and trust me it is normal. When you go to the bathroom and wipe, there will be what I call the rainbow.

It is brown, pink and yellow, and or green. If you see any kind of yellowing or light brown that looks yellow or green, just go ahead and message your doctor or go get seen.

This means you got BV. Bacterial Vaginosis  is completely normal however due to the strong iron smell and the smell of rot you cannot really tell if you have it or not.

My doctor decided to go ahead and put me on the
antibiotics because as he states, he cannot go in there to check for infections because the cervix closed and there is no actual testing because it is in the uterus and not the vagina this time. I had a few different cases of BV.

It is not caused by sex all the time, it can be caused by anything. It is where the good bacteria does not stop making and cause an over growth. It can give you discharge of off-white, yellow, gray and it smells really foul and fishy because your pH balance has been thrown off.

It will also make you really itchy between the lips and you will end up needing some vagisil or something to make it not itchy.

I normally would use vaginal suppositories when this happen to help clear it out but because I just had surgery I could not put anything in there nor use anything. The vaginal suppositories has Boric acid in it to help get rid and stop the bacterial growth.

I normally use the vagibiom suppositories because they do not burn me like one that I took before.

I got a hysteroscopy & Endometrial Ablation

Let me tell you, this is going to hurt when you first get it done. It will burn and you will be in pain but the day after surgery it does not hurt as bad anymore.

You will be throbbing and on pelvic rest until 2 weeks. Honestly this was the best option I went. I got mine done January 14th and I feel way better. I do not feel like my uterus is super heavy anymore nor is there a lot of pressure.

I could not get the hysterectomy even if I wanted to because my bladder and uterus and probably part of my bowels are fused together with scar tissue and the doctor said it was risky for him to do that and I had a possibility of dying

They also said of the pain and stuff gets bad again I am going to have a second surgery that includes going through groin area and go into the uterus into blood vessels and stop the blood from going into certain parts that are no longer need.

I also had issues with my heart rate because when I woke up it was 44/50 and it kept going up and dropping. It was rough but once it came back up I felt better.

I did not bleed as much with this operation only spotted a little bit here and there at the beginning however the 3rd day is like a light period.

I am expected to have a few periods to help get it out the rest of the way but we are not 100% sure I well have a period or not anymore after that.

The doctor is also afraid that the Adenomyosis is on the uterus tissue and he could not get it all so we are looking out for that also after recovery. I also have PCOS on top of this that is makes things difficult.

Honestly this surgery was the best thing I could do. I feel way better already and my uterus does not feel heavy like it did unless I have to pee then my bladder makes it heavy.

I have no incision to worry about the only thing is I am on risk of infection for 2 weeks reason why I got a post op appointment but other than that taking it easy.

I do not have any incisions to worry about but I do have an infection risk until everything goes back to normal.
