This ends up growing your following list and subscribing list instead of your followers.
Trust me trying to grow yourself sucks especially when you are doing it organically but you are wanting fans, you are wanting viewers and chatters along with returning people. You do not want an empty viewer seat, no chats or anything like that.
Doing this does not boost your watch hours, or give you the views that you are wanting. You want someone that is going to actually engage with your content not just another number. You want to actually find people that supports you and is for you and doing sub for sub or follow for follow will not do that.
You are going to have to network and get your content out there. Not all the content you make is going to make it. Not all your content is going to get views or gain traction but if you don't try then you will never know another thing is if you don't make content then you never will make it.
It is going to take time but the key here is not to give up.
Youtube also goes in and deletes subs just a heads up.
