6 month -year phone service

Cell phone companies are now making you stay with their service for about six months to a year before you can switch to another company and keep your number.

I personally hate this because there are a lot of services out there that just aren’t good—especially if you live in rural or wooded areas. Some don’t work well at all, some drop your calls, and in many places you don’t even get the full service you’re paying for.

You can look at a coverage map, but honestly, you never really know how a service will work until you actually try it. Some companies now offer “try it free” programs, which is helpful because it lets you see how the service really is in your area before committing.

I’ve also noticed that some companies charge outrageous prices for phones. When you shop around, you’ll often find the same phone being sold for much less by another company.

I personally prefer prepaid phones. A lot of big-name companies, like Boost and T-Mobile, will run your credit and then raise the phone price and plans higher than what was advertised. Other companies don’t do that. However, prepaid companies also make you wait before transferring your number to another service, so be mindful of who you choose.

Phones are expensive

Phones by cellphone companies are expensive especially if  you are having to buy a new plan or line. The phones are even more higher if they are on child companies such as Visible and other companies. It is like you are paying 2x the price. I know this because well my phone is on visible and I am trying to find a new phone because my Moto Razr is damaged and it is time for a replacement.

I dropped it and there is a line on the left side with  black dot. I can also feel the hinge in the screen and there is a a line in it where you can see where it opens and close. The phone also does not respond well on the left side due to this but I honestly loved this phone but it is time for something new. I am looking at getting a Samsung A26 or some kind of moto since I love the motos so well.

Verizon however, I am on the Verizon network just on an alt service and they have some really good deals going like the 4 line for $25 and a bunch of other deals which is nice.

You can also get free phones with Verizon if needed which is also nice.
