My doctors have not helped me with any of it nor prescribed me anything for it. Yes I had surgery for the adenomyosis. They burned and scraped out what they could in hopes they got it all and it didn't go deeper into the walls in which I may have to have a second surgery for but they did not give me anything for the facial hair, the weight gain and the other things that comes with it including the hormone imbalance.
(Adenomyosis is where the tissue does not shed correctly and it grows inside of the uterus walls making it heavy and difficult for periods. It can also stop periods and if you have one it can make it extremely painful to the point you feel like you are dying. You can also have heavy bleeding and it feels like your uterus can fall out and cause a lot of pelvic pressure and pain.)
I decided to take it in my own hands and take supplements for i and it helped a lot. I do not have bad period cramps like I did even though I had an albation, I still get period cramps and they were bad but not as bad as normal. I could handle these.
I currently take Myo Inositol 16-N-1 Supplement, which has D-Chiro Inositol, Folate, DIM, Vitamin D3, B12, K2, Chromium, Bioperine, Ceylon Cinnamon, Zinc, Ashwagandha, Chasteberry, Magnesium, Berberine in which I feel a lot better. My moods are better, my anxiety went down, stress went down, I no longer have an appetite so when I eat I feel full and no longer want to eat or snack. It also supports the overaies and reproduction health which is something I wanted since I have PCOS.
My sleep is way better and I get good sleep and wake up in a better mood. Everything feels great taking it.
I also take a 15-N- 1 GLP-1 Supplement Natural Activator Formula which is a GLP1 for Women & Men, with Probiotic, Hops, Green Tea for Energy, Gut Health, Hunger & Metabolism Support
along with fish oil omega 3 to help balance and help with the stomach ache and other flutters that you can get from it.
All of these work hand in hand and covers pretty much every part of the body that it needs to cover from balancing hormones, to helping decrease appitie, helping with energy, sleep and metabolism along with PCOS symptoms.
My OBGYN said it was going to be harder for me to lose weight because I have the odds working against me.
I brought it up to my primary and he told me that there's nothing they can do for it but walk.
I currently calorie count and already walk but apparently what I was doing was not good enough.
So I decided to buy a stepper, a vibration plate and a weighted hula hoop hoping that would also help me with losing weight. I already had a peddler but I wanted something else that I could use to move my whole body also.
I weigh in between 229-233 sometimes because the weight goes up and down and I bloat bad but taking the supplements helps with that also which is good. My highest weight was 240 which is a lot for me but other than that, I just wanted others to know that they are not alone and there are a few ways to combat it if needed.
