My weight loss journey and diet

As I continue my weight‑loss journey, I decided to grab a few new tools to keep things fun and challenging. I’m still calorie‑counting using my NetDiary app, which tracks my calories, exercise, steps, and overall progress. It’s been a solid tool for staying consistent, especially when you’re on a weight‑loss plan or any kind of structured diet.

On top of that, I deal with PCOS and adenomyosis — both of which make losing weight a lot harder than it should be. So anything that helps me stay active, motivated, and gentle with my body is a win.

I picked up a stepper because it’s simple, effective, and something I can use anytime. It gets my legs moving and really works my lower body in a way that feels good, not overwhelming.

I also grabbed a pedal exerciser with 12 different modes — and let me tell you, it definitely gives me a challenge. The best part is that I can use it while I’m working at my computer or sitting at my desk, so I’m staying active even on busy days.

And because I’ve always wanted one, I finally ordered a weighted hula hoop. I’m excited to try it out and add something playful to my routine.

Oh, and I couldn’t resist getting a vibration plate too. It’s great for circulation, warm‑ups, and just adding a little extra boost to my workouts.

Little steps, little tools, steady progress — and even with PCOS and adenomyosis trying to slow me down, I’m proud of where I’m heading.

I am also on supplements to help my body regulate in which you can read about here

PCOS and adenomyosis supplement support

If you have PCOS and looking for supplements to help, I recommend a handful of things. One is Shilajit. It helps with balancing hormones, improve insulin sensitivity, reduces inflammation it supposedly helps with hair growth and not allowing the chin hairs and unwanted body hair.

Another one would be Fenugreek helps with lowering blood sugar, help with breast milk production help with hormones, and appetite.

My inositol helps with the ovaries and hormones. It supports ovulation, helps regulate cycles, reduces androgen symptoms which thins the facial hair and other hair. It also helps with mood balance.

PCOS: No warned us

No one tells you how bad PCOS really is and can get. No one tells you how it doesn't matter what you eat you will be bloated and gain weight out of no where.

No one even talks about how your hair will thin and fall out and your nails may become brittle. No one tells you how your hormones are going to be thrown off, your periods will be off days, weeks, months and even years. You can end up with acne and oily skin.

No one tells you about the unwanted body hair, facial hair and all the things you end up going through. The pain, the insomnia, the mood swings along with craving sugar and wanting sugar all the time.

No one also talks about just because your reproductive hormones are out of whack it is going to make everything in your body out of whack and it is going to end up putting you down.

PCOS takes a mental toll on you and can make you have anxiety, and depression and a lot of other things and it is totally okay if you have this.

Here are somethings that can help you balance, I used half of these and they worked great!

Primrose

Peach perfect inositol multivitamins

Myo and D-Chiro inositol

Progesto life hormone balance cream

Fenugreek

If you are having trouble falling asleep I recommend magnesium, it helps way better then any kind of sleeping pills or melatonin. Neither of the two do anything for me and end up staying up all night. If they did something it would make me feel gorgy and drained out.

I have trouble taking capsles now so I have to find things that I stick in my water.
