 Online personas, will not always allow you to see how a person is. An online persona will only show you how a person is online and how they want you to see them. In real life often times they are not the way they are online.  A lot of online people hides a lot of things and who they are and how they act. Trusting people online is often risky because you do not know them. I am not saying don't make friends online but take sometime to get to know them.  It is even riskier if you date a person online because you really truly do not know them nor who they actually are. Yeah, they may video chat with you or call you but you do not know if they have a whole family behind them nor do you know if they are lying to you.  A person who makes excuses of why they cannot call you often times they do not want to or have something hidden.
