You can go to the pharmacy and pick up Oscillococcinum which I was told it works good and there is only 6 dosages in them. You can also go to your doctor and ask them about Xofluza and it pretty much clears it up within 48 hours.
Day one, it starts with an itchy feeling funny throat and it gets more intense when trying to swallow and your sinuses feel like they are stopping up and causing pressure.
You also can get headaches with this and become light headed. You can also have this dry cough that gets annoying and will keep coming with force and you start taking cold meds to prep for it so it does not get as bad. Mouth will also become dry so sucking on hard candy to help it not be so dry.
Day two, you have a little bit of energy, not so much but you are hot, cold, hot, cold break like 4 fevers, wake up to everything soaked from breaking fevers everything feels manageable but then you will slowly go back to everything aching and hurting and every sneeze sent electricity down my right arm and made it feel like it was going to be ripped off.
The cough becomes a little wet and your nose will run constantly. Day three feels like a repeat of day two but day four it feels like you are getting better and get a little more strength but the meds I was taking no longer feels like they are working and everything became tasteless and nasty.
I also have some chest pains but I always had chest pains and it does not feel like pneumonia. I also had to take my tongue ring out because with this, you can get mouth sores and the tongue ring irritated the roof of my mouth with the sore.
However that day five in which I am on day five while writing this and I felt like I had energy when I first woke up and now everything hurts. My right arm is tingling, my nose is runny, I have this cough. My ear is hurting me but my throat feels fine. It felt fine also on day three. I feel like I am slowly going to get better but my energy is not there.
I have noticed the Tylenol cold and flu is not working. I also noticed the Alka-Seltzer plus cold and flu helped a little but what worked the best was the off brand Nighttime severe cold and flu relief but it is taking a little longer to work. I also take ibuprofen like 20 minutes later to help with the pain and the fever because it is taking a little bit of time to help with that.
I also say be sure to drink teas, warm liquids, stay hydrated and rest because this is no joke. It is that bad and no it does not feel like your normal flu and cold. There are two flus going around Flu A and Flu B and both are as bad as the other.
Also you can end up having vomiting and diarrhea. The vomiting will feel like it is coming from your back and it will pull everything you have.
Hospitals are full and are going to max compacity so be mindful going out here and if you are sick, stay home. People are loosing their lives due to flu complications.

They are saying this lasts 6-7 days but some people have had it for weeks. I am hoping it does not last much longer because I am suppose to have a hysterectomy January 14th.
