Anxiety

Anxiety? Yeah me too! Everyone gets anxiety and it sucks. A lot of people do not know how much one person may struggle with everyday tasks. Anxiety is not something you can just get over. It is not just something that magically goes away.

It is something that lives with you. It is the not being able to speak. The nervous of trying to say something but afraid of the backlash or what someone is going to say. It is the panic attacks, the seen the unseen. It's the nervously shaking when things don't go as plan. The what ifs the constant worrying how something will go.  It's the over reacting, the involuntary movements and shaking.

The pacing back and forth. The reinsurance that things are okay, that no one is mad. Its the talking in public but getting sweaty hands all while just trying to order food or just talking to someone you do not know.

Being bullied in my childhood has caused some of this but that is not the major factors. Being afraid of speaking out due to your parent always has the say and the fear that you get when you do something they disapprove up and not sure how they are going to handle it.

A therapist once told me sour candy is the way to go. Sour candy calms the nervous system allowing your body to relax in which its kind of like when you suffer a traumatic event, they tell you to play Tetris so that you mind does not focus on what happened or what is happening, it rerouted to you playing a complex game so now you focus on that instead.

I use Stress relief tablets that helps out a lot and this allows me to be calm and not worry and it does not allow me to overreact.

I also keep gum on me and chew that so I focus on that instead of things around me.

Pretty much anything to keep your mind focus and not allowing you to dart off topic or start panicking helps. There are also anxiety rings you can get which also works good. You can turn them and fidget with them which are cool!

There are all kinds of Anxiety fidgets here!

Anxiety

Something they do not tell you about anxiety is that it gets worst and it doesn't matter what you do. Anxiety can cause so much including overthinking all the time and that can put stress on your body even if you don't realize it.

If you hear a certain thing, see certain things, think certain things it can destress you and trigger you so bad to the point you just start breathing heavily and you won't be able to calm it. It gives chest pains and so much more. It can become crippling if you are not careful.

It can keep you awake a night worrying and over thinking things. You will be insomniac and then sleep during the day most of the day and if there's a sudden noise, it can cause your heart to drop and feel like it's falling sending you into panicking. Trust me I was there also and some nights I still am having this.

This is also coming from PCOS and trauma that I have had through out my life. I sometimes have to lay in the dark, listen to rain videos and ocean videos on youtube to allow myself to sleep and try to get as comfortable as possible because I can and will start panicking at night for no reason at all its just my mind getting worked up over basically nothing and causes me to over think breathe heavy and just start hyperventilating.

The best thing for you to do is to basically avoid anything that triggers you, I mean at sometime or another you are going to end up going into crowds, and doing things that bothers you but do it when you are ready and when you are at ease. Don't rush and don't panic through it just breathe through it and have those around you that you trust and knows you.

Do things that you enjoy and if you want to try something new go a little at a time and not force completely into it since your body will start sending languages that it is un-comfy and that will cause a lot of distress.

But do things you like and if that is playing video games, drawing, reading, visiting nature is a good idea with anxiety and grounding yourself is also a good thing it helps you with the universe. If you don't know how to ground yourself, just go outside barefoot and walk in the dirt and if you can sit on the grass with your feet in the dirt and meditate, go outside talk to the plants, and the trees and just basically learn yourself.

Anxiety

Anxiety is horrible. It's the worst thing ever for people to deal with. There is so much that can cause an anxiety attack like being forced to do something your not comfortable with, being in crowded places, speaking in public, talking to certain people. Most people do not believe or even realize how easy it is for someone to go into a panic and freak out. I have had my share and still do. I can not go into to much of a crowded place without someone I know. I cannot also be left alone for a long period of time because I tend to freak out and feel like I was forgotten or left. It is hard. I feel like if I speak someone will judge me I also so feel like people judge me either way I go. I try not to let it get to me but sometimes it happens... It's the worst ever. I sometimes even panic for no reason it just gets ahold of me and knocks me down to the point I cannot take it anymore and causes my chest to hurt and I just either curl up in a ball or pass out whichever happens first. It is not a pleasant thing to go to a dinner or a store and just faint because of the pressure and your body cannot handle the crowds.
