Truoba is a place you can go looking for and purchasing housing plans. They have all kinds of different houses and plan ideas to choose from and in my opinion this is a great thing. I honestly love how simple it is to use Truoba.

They also have modern housing plans that are not even that expensive as other plans cost. They even have custom plans and you can pretty much customize everything the way you want which is nice. There are so many different plans and types to choose from such as cozy cottages, to spacious family homes.

They even have ones with upstairs and garages. They even allow you to adjust the rooms sizes and how many rooms you will need so you can pick the best house for you at the right price. In my opinion they are well worth looking at when trying to build a house and looking for housing plans and designs.

2023

 This year was an alright year until I got sick with something that is still un-diagnosed but is making me loose weight and be nauseated, have diarrhea, vomiting, and cannot eat and we are dealing with a housing situation because the now owner who bought it in 2020 decided he doesn't get enough monthly income from it and is now in the hole because he wants his $35,000 and wanted to sell it even though we offered to pay him more in rent and now we do not know what he is doing. 

This is a mess, he decided he wanted to do this right here at the holidays where everything is supposed to be happy. My kid's birthday is around Christmas and this year, I just don't even know if I can get Christmas for them because of this. Because I don't know what is going to happen nor if we're going to have a place to call home.

 Every year, we always done something big for Christmas and Birthdays and this year I just don't see myself doing it because I am trying to save every dollar I have to be sure we can get another place to live. Renting around here is not cheap, there is nothing really for low income families and now places are doing credit checks in which if your credit is no good you cannot rent from them or they charge you more and it sucks because of that on top of they want you to have 3x the income and a few other things like charging the rent payment in a deposit and of course there are so many scams you never know what is real anymore. 

This place we have been home for 7 years and we are trying our best to keep it together in front of the kids but it is getting harder now because of all of this. I wish I could just get 35,000 so I do not have to worry about a roof over our heads and we could just celebrate the holidays without worry. 

No Affordable housing crisis in the USA

 There is no longer such a thing as affordable housing for low income families. 

A lot of families are looking for a place to call home because either their leases are running out, they are getting evicted because their landlord wants to remodel and up the prices or just like us because our landlord decided he wants to sell the home and get his money back because he bought a group of trailers and our home thinking it is going to give him the income he needs but yet it just put him in the hole, no fault of his own really because the original owner did not tell him everything he needed to know nor did he mention about the damages and repairs each place is needing and now he just wanted to sell it and now it is the situation we are in. 

Everyone is ending up in the same boat. A lot of places require background checks, credit checks, 3x the income and it is like how can people with no credit history even get a home?

 Houses are no longer $400-$900 dollars, it is now $1000-$3000 dollars depending where you are and some places don't even have minimum wage to pay the employees. Everyone only sees what they can get, they do not care about the people they only want the $ even if that means tearing a family apart, making life even harder than it is trying to be stable, and find a home that they can afford all while juggling kids, life and work. 

Not to mention there are a lot of scams going around claiming they own the house or a house and try to rent it to you and take your money and then leaving you in a bind because they don't own the house and they just made money off of you and now you are stuck without you're hard earned cash to use for another place.

This is 2023, we are still giving money to other countries instead of helping our own. They complained about people being homeless and destroying their tents but what do they think is going to happen now there is nothing affordable?

When people ask for help, they get looked over and talked about. A lot of people calling others a scam for trying to raise money to help them get a home or what they need and then people question "If we help you, how are the bills going to get paid or continued to be paid?" People are working but sometimes their income is just not enough to just up and allow them to move. 

We have bills we still have to pay and jobs we still have to work to make money for the family so there's not a lot of extra money left over and sometimes down payments can range up to $1000-$3000 on top of first month and last month rent due at the same time of trying to move in and that is if the credit is good. Sometimes if the credit isn't good they will raise the price and it turns into even worse.

Compact washers and dryers

 

Sometimes, our washers and dryers goes out and we cannot afford a new one due to money being tight or whatever it is the reasoning behind it. Trust me we all have been there at one time or another 

One solution we ended up having to do besides going to the laundry mat and washing clothes or having to wash clothes in the tub, we broke down and bought a compact or portable washer and dryer because we could not afford a replacement. 

The only down side to it is that well there isn't one except depending on the type of dryer you get, may leave your clothing stiff and you cannot wash much at the same time but you can get ones that can and fit more pounds in it.

To fill it, you get a hose for the faucet that you can attach it to fill it and for it to drain, you basically use a hose and stick it in the sink. It basically washes and works just like an actual washer does.

Affordable housing

 

The home we are renting we are suppose to be buying. We are needing to add two more rooms on it so that it is not as crowded here. Buying a home right out is not easy they are needing your check stubs for the past two years and sometimes you won't have that. 

You are also needing a great credit score even though some said they would take the 580, they do not. It is so much more on you to try to buy a home. Home buy is not affordable. The affordable housing went extent and are so rare that people do not believe them when they tell you the price due to so many scams going around. 

The houses that has all the rooms needed are way to expensive and wants payment that are often time higher than people can afford and it sucks. It is like you are giving an arm and a leg to have a place to call home. 

Affordable housing would be great for people because they would have a place to forever call theirs without having to worry about if the landlord is going to make them move. 

The bank system doesn't even help those who really need it. It will only help the ones who have money. Unless you have $10,000 or more they do not even want to see you. They won't even really take cash, it has to be in your account because they will claim you are doing illegal things if you hand them cash which is not right but as everyone is saying we are going into a cashless society.

If housing was affordable there would not be as many homeless people as there is because no one can afford a house and be sure that we can eat also and pay bills. Things are expensive. Most of the businesses that are trying to force people into office could convert it into housing for those who needs it. Also businesses that closed down could be a perfect place for the homeless to live. It would be like an apartment to them but no one really wants to help them. No one really wants to help anyone. It is a hand up thing that they don't want to help anyone but themselves. 

It is all about greed, who has the most cash.
