Gaslight by Doctors

At first, it was fine. Everything was fine even though my intuition made me uncomfortable of that office.

It was until the procedure was done was the issue. The doctors and nurses are gaslighting me. First the office did not tell me what I was looking for or signs of infection.

Then I was having pains but they said oh its normal to have cramping and everything else when I reached out.

Then another doctor answered my doctors messages talking about if your in pain and it is to much to stand go to the hospital and this was before the 2 week appointment. I was trying to get answers in which I did not.

Then, I messaged again recently that hey the antibiotics is not working. I do not feel any better just for them to pretty much gaslight me and tell me that hey we expect cramping. I'm not even cramping. I am in pain like it is throbbing from the infection style type pain.

Like the doctor didn't even do the swob test. He only did a UTI test but he did not even bother doing the swob test for BV. All he did was clear me from restrictions. He also did not prescribe or treat anything for my PCOS in which I have this on top of adenomyosis.

I have been suffering since I came home and it has almost been a month. February 14th will make one month. They said I can feel effects from 1 month all the way up to 3-6 months. He did not mention this at the appointments prior to the procedure. This is not right.

They said this would be a quick and easy process. They said that I would only be down for about a week or two.

No one said the heal time would be months. No one really explained anything to me except the endometrial ablation. He said he is going to go in, dilate the cervix, use a device to go inside and burn away at the adenomyosis tissue. He did not really explain anything else after the fact but once we got to the 2 week check up then he let on that it can actually take months to heal.

The hysterectomy, I got knew about. I was going to be down for 4-6 weeks as if I had a child but this. I did not even get incisions and I am apparently going to be down for a lot longer.

They won't even schedule me in but want me to go to the hospital for it.

According to google, I was suppose to contact my doctor and they were suppose to switch antibiotics since it does not feel it is working.

I am schedule to see another OBGYN that I scheduled months ago before I went to this office and hopefully I can get some relief but I am going to end up going to the ER for this though.

In time like these you have to become your own advocate. You have to speak up, reach out and get answers you needing and treatment you deserve. If you do not feel like something is right, you are going to have to do something about it. Speak up and Speak out.

It's an eventful week...

This week has been an adventure. My cousin who is 11 is staying with us until her mother recovers from a real severe infection in her leg. The antibiotics that she was on was not helping and did not clear it all the way. Her left leg got better but the right leg did not.

They had to switch her antibiotics to something stronger hoping it helps but she has to be on it for a week and has to stay in the hospital. This is stressful for everyone.

No one was really prepared for this. She has been switched to another antibiotic trying to clear the infection and they are putting creams on it to help the blisters so that it can drain and pop them. Right now her leg does look a little better but it looks like one giant blister and it looks like she got burned but she did not its just the infection. They have done 2 Ct scans and it is just waiting to be read.

They have an advanced infection specialist coming in trying to figure out what to do next because no one is sure what to do.

They may have to drain it and other things just not sure.

Now my cousins brother is going to end up having to go to the hospital for his foot because it is too infected.

What is this mystery illness

I caught the thing that should not be named. I went to the hospital for an infection that was not getting well and I was told I did not have anymore but it appeared I did. I started feeling bad a day or two after I went and then I went to a gathering.

A few days later my throat started to feel funny. It was not an achy thing but a drain to the point it was hard to talk. A few more days later it got to the point I could not talk and I had this cough that would not go away. I coughed and coughed. I was running a fever, got the chills, chest was hurting from the all the coughing. I coughed up so much phlegm that I could not sleep comfortably. No matter how I turned I could not sleep. I had to take sleep aids that my body fought off and finally got sleep 12 hours later.

I took what I had cold medications to help it and it did until I ran out. I had to scrape up a few dollars to go to dollar tree and get the Advil for cold and flu which was a sample pack and worked good. I also got the cold and flu for night and day and it worked great. I slept great until the last one now I am taking Thera flu and I don't like it but it kind of helps.

I woke up this morning to my ear hurting and feels like it is closing off. It normally happens when I am sick but I used ear drops to help it but it made it worst and things are muffled.  I also use vapor rub at night and when I need it. It helps with the pain and opens up my passages enough to help me breathe. I have yet to loose my taste and smell this time so hopefully I get better soon.

I went to the hospital and I have an ear infection which was given oral antibiotics for. I told them it was hard to hear out of it but now it is popping and sounds like bubbles in it again so hopefully that clears up.

The COVID tests are negative but we are all stick sick. After 2-3 weeks I stopped coughing up phlegm. I did how ever had to go to the hospital for an ear infection and they gave me antibiotics but that did help with me coughing and I am starting to feel better but this ear ache is still here.
