Roku cameras

I do not recommend Roku cameras. I went through three of these things. The first one it kept dying quickly so I got replacement.

The second one decided it wanted to burn up. Smelled something funny when it was charging and unplugged it to find a burn spot and the charger melted and it was the charger it came with.

The batteries give the wrong reading on the app and it takes a while to authentication so things can happen before you can even look at the video. Sometimes the camera do not even read in front of them even if you set the detectors.

I am suppose to get video feed back of everything but yet I only get pictures with nothing in them but yet the camera detected something.

Another thing is that the camera would have trouble with the backdoor and would barely stay connected.

These cameras also desync a lot and when you try to see what is going on you have to go restart it since the app can't find it and say it's offline.

A first I was happy with Roku now I am disappointed in them.

We are moving to Wyze.

Memory

Any kind of memory issues change the way you move through the world. They don’t just make you forget things—they make you second-guess yourself. I live with memory problems, and there are moments when my mind simply slips. I forget things that once felt automatic. There have been times when I had to stop and think about how to get into a car or how to sit down, replaying the steps in my head before my body could follow.

I forget how to spell words I’ve known for years. I forget how to say things the way I mean them. Sometimes my thoughts are there, but the path to them feels broken. It can be frustrating, embarrassing, and exhausting in ways that are hard to explain to someone who hasn’t experienced it.

To cope, I write things down. I set alarms. I slow myself down and move through tasks carefully, one step at a time. When I still can’t figure things out, I ask for help. That isn’t easy, but I’m grateful to have a support system that doesn’t judge me—people who are patient, understanding, and willing to meet me where I am on my harder days.

In many ways, this was always a possibility. Before I was even born, my mother was in a serious car accident. Doctors warned that I might have neurological issues later in life. As I’ve grown older, those warnings have started to make sense. What once felt distant has slowly become part of my reality.

Living with this has given me a deeper understanding of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s. The confusion. The fear of losing pieces of yourself. The frustration of knowing who you are but struggling to access it. It has taught me empathy in a way nothing else could.

This is why keeping the mind active and cared for matters. But just as important is patience—especially self-patience. Memory loss doesn’t take away a person’s worth. It doesn’t erase intelligence, love, or identity. It simply means the journey looks different, and sometimes slower. And that deserves understanding, not judgment.

This allows them to play chess and need no one to play with because the board plays itself and moves the chess pieces to where they need even if they jump over their chess piece.

This can also teach people how to play chess too if they are not sure how.

Husband and Gout and RA

My husband has real bad gout. He also has Rheumatoid Arthritis. His gout flares up throughout his elbows, wrist, hands, knees, feet and occasionally the ribs. It just now recently spread to his feet and his toes are no longer curled like they use to be.

He also gets knots on his feet and ankles when it starts and then he has the pain and swelling. When his elbow starts it gets hard and turns red.

It apparently is straightening them out but his other toes on the other foot is curled still. The RA is not good either because it makes it hard for him to move and just overall is not pleasurable and I honestly hate to watch him suffer and he cannot do anything and I cannot
do anything to help him until it goes down.

He learned that his shoes where one of the causes. He was told he wore 13s but he got to looking and he realized that they were to big and his foot had to much room and was bouncing around the shoe and causing ungodly amount of pain.

He ended up going to Walmart and finding out he is a 10.5 however, he only wears high-tops because it supports his ankle and hamstring especially when he flares but. He also learned that the 10.5 is hurting him a little because his feet
swells and he needs something a little wider and we finally got him some wide and he is doing a lot better.

I also got him a cane. Well two canes. One has a arms rest like thing to help him get up and use the cane as support. The other cane has springs on the bottom and it helps him move around since it recoils back to him.

He also uses a walker when he cannot walk as good with the cane.

He has an armrest well two armrest for his computer because he works from home and his elbow swells out to the point he cannot lay it anywhere but the armrest helps because he can lay it on there and it helps so he is still able to use his arm.

He highly recommends getting lightweight shoes so they are not heavy on the foot and get shoes that allows your feet to breathe in. He also suggests heating pads because it can help it also. Lots to rest and hydration and be sure to know what causes your flare ups. There are foods that are suppose to be avoided.

His flare ups are sugary drinks, seafood. He also does have random flare ups.

We do use roll on the Nervive pain relief and that works better with RA flare ups.

Sometimes his gout flare ups and Rheumatoid flare ups look the same and it often time is hard to distinguish it so we treat both the same.

There was also this foot rub salve cayenne pepper that works great on it but we unfortunately can no longer find it.

Here is the gout diet.

The steal| Prime Video

The steal is an Amazon Prime Video series.

A group of people that goes on a heist and steal from a multi-billion pension fund company.

This series is brand new and is a British crime thriller.

There are plot twists in this series that you don't even believe. Two of the workers end up being forced to be in on the heist along with the rest of the building being forced to cooperate and approve the trades that they want done.

But then the two that did it for the people heisting ended up stealing money from them somehow and it is just all over the place.

They do everything for them all while they all are trying to survive. Anything hidden in the company ends up coming to light so there is no more hiding the truth.

This show is not slow. It pretty much sped into action.

There are only 6 episodes in season one.

Wide Toe Box Mens Walking Sneakers

These shoes are lightweight and my husband likes these since he has gout and his feet flares up to the point he cannot wear his original shoes. These shoes are comfortable and he is not in agony trying to walk.

These shoes have wide box so he is able to stretch his feet more and and not have the top of the shoe compress into his feet especially when they swell from the gout flare ups and attack.

These shoes are great because he has to use a cane and walker and he ends up having to drag his foot because sometimes it hurts to bad to actually walk on it.

These shoes have good grip and that is what I wanted for him so he would not slide.

Get these shoes here!

If you are looking for a simulator pair, I highly suggest Fitville. They specialize in lightweight walking shoes that have wide toe boxes and are perfect for those who feet swell or have gout. Their shoes are just the same! They also have shoes that has a close on top instead of the tying it. I highly recommend these shoes also!

A36 Samsung Galaxy Phone Review

Let me just say this phone is quick and responsive. I have not had a lag or anything nor a stutter with this phone. I love this phone! You have two different bars up top, left side is notification, right side is system settings. If you swipe to on the right side you get a pinned app bar so you can easily navigate your apps.

If you swipe up on the bottom on the screen you get Samsung wallet which is cool it pulls out a little card as if you are pulling it out of your wallet.

It has wireless charging, tap touch. However I am use to my power button unlocking my phone with the touch sensor. I am not use to the touch sensor being in the screen to unlock.

You hold power button, it turns on the flashlight but you have to set
it up using the good lock app in the Samsung store which will allow you to customize your phone to your liking. It was quick and easy to migrate all of my apps, settings and stuff from the Moto to the Samsung. I highly recommend this phone if you are wanting something different and new.

The back is made of glass in which I like but I am nervous because it could shatter.

Even though this phone is made out of gorilla glass, I already got a scratch on it from it flying into the floorboard due to a deer crossing. The battery on this phone is alright. I am not sure if it is still learning me or not and that is why it’s not holding a good charge. Like a few minutes to an hour later the battery is kind of drained.

I figured out there was some background apps running and I put the phone on battery saver and it seems to be lasting longer than it was. That and the flashlight being connected to the power button kind of did it too.

I love this phone because everything is customizable on it. You can change the home screen buttons. You can have two different images on your home screen and lock screen in which no other phone allows that unless you make a collage. You can also customize your notification settings and have things float across your screen every time you get a notification. I however have a blue bubble that pops up on mine depending on the notification and I also have flowers that floats across the screen.

I love love love this phone. It is easy to use and simple. I was not sure coming from moto because prior to moving to moto I had a Samsung way back when and the digitizer went out in it when I dropped it and it just made me stay away from Samsung but now, I gain to love it again.

This phone is great also at keeping up with my medical records and appointments and medications because honestly, life be lifing and I be forgetting to take them but this phone is great at reminding me and keeping up with everything.

The Goodlock app is amazing at customizing everything. You pretty much go in and look for the apps you are wanting or things that can make the phone better and download them. If you do not like them you can remove them through there by hitting the I with the circle and it will pull up the page and about the app then there is a trash can on top.

Infection after ablation (PID)

I went to the ER for my discharge that the obgyn office kept gaslighting me for and trying to say that was normal when it was not normal.

I ended up having a real bad infection and ended up with 4 antibiotic pills and one shot trying to get better in which I started bleeding again after the shot.

Something I really have not been doing since I came home. I am finally getting the help and relief I am needing.

I got the ablation January 14th, My 2 week checkup was January 29th and that was when I got flagyl. I have been playing message tag with the obgyn office. Trying to explain everything and they just push me off as if it was normal.

I told them the Flagyl was not working and they told me to give them one to two weeks and message back as if it would do anything. They would not let me talk to the doctor and they defiantly would not schedule me an appointment to make sure everything was good. I had enough and went to the hospital.

They told me I do have an infection but not sure of which and ended up with 4 antibiotic pills and a shot in the hip because when they put the speculums in and pulled it out it was covered in yellow just like the stuff I was wiping. They did the swob tests, took blood, checked my pee.

The doctor at the ER said I see what you were talking about with it being yellow, clumpy and discharging. Everyone was shocked when I told them what the nurses said from the OBGYN and they told me to move and find a different one because it is not right.

The ER is treating me for PID and yeast even though the yeast test came back negative (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease). After I messaged the OBGYN about this suddenly and magically they got me an appointments as if they know something was not right.

Prime Video and Addons

Prime video is your one stop shop! I love how prime videos also have movies, shows and series of their own but then you can go over and get other subscriptions like Starz, Apple Tv, paramount+, Discovery, Crunchyroll, Britbox, Fox one, AMC+, BET+ and a bunch other other channels and platforms.

You can even bundle your subscriptions to save more money in which I like that.

One bundle has 2 subscriptions involved like starz and hallmark+ the other has MGM+, AMC+ and Starz all in one.

The three is only 19.99 and the two is only 13.99 in which saves a lot of money in the long run but prices very cause they have s Starz and BET+ that runs 15.99. They also have a lot of other bundles.

If you have kids, they do have a bundle for them with Ryan and Friends and Hopsters Learning.

I love how Prime Video gives you this option because it saves you money in the long run and you can pay for everything through them instead of trying to figure out what you have and what you do not have. You can also use the app and go to each place from there and I love that.

Check out prime video addon subscriptions here!

Gaslight by Doctors

At first, it was fine. Everything was fine even though my intuition made me uncomfortable of that office.

It was until the procedure was done was the issue. The doctors and nurses are gaslighting me. First the office did not tell me what I was looking for or signs of infection.

Then I was having pains but they said oh its normal to have cramping and everything else when I reached out.

Then another doctor answered my doctors messages talking about if your in pain and it is to much to stand go to the hospital and this was before the 2 week appointment. I was trying to get answers in which I did not.

Then, I messaged again recently that hey the antibiotics is not working. I do not feel any better just for them to pretty much gaslight me and tell me that hey we expect cramping. I'm not even cramping. I am in pain like it is throbbing from the infection style type pain.

Like the doctor didn't even do the swob test. He only did a UTI test but he did not even bother doing the swob test for BV. All he did was clear me from restrictions. He also did not prescribe or treat anything for my PCOS in which I have this on top of adenomyosis.

I have been suffering since I came home and it has almost been a month. February 14th will make one month. They said I can feel effects from 1 month all the way up to 3-6 months. He did not mention this at the appointments prior to the procedure. This is not right.

They said this would be a quick and easy process. They said that I would only be down for about a week or two.

No one said the heal time would be months. No one really explained anything to me except the endometrial ablation. He said he is going to go in, dilate the cervix, use a device to go inside and burn away at the adenomyosis tissue. He did not really explain anything else after the fact but once we got to the 2 week check up then he let on that it can actually take months to heal.

The hysterectomy, I got knew about. I was going to be down for 4-6 weeks as if I had a child but this. I did not even get incisions and I am apparently going to be down for a lot longer.

They won't even schedule me in but want me to go to the hospital for it.

According to google, I was suppose to contact my doctor and they were suppose to switch antibiotics since it does not feel it is working.

I am schedule to see another OBGYN that I scheduled months ago before I went to this office and hopefully I can get some relief but I am going to end up going to the ER for this though.

In time like these you have to become your own advocate. You have to speak up, reach out and get answers you needing and treatment you deserve. If you do not feel like something is right, you are going to have to do something about it. Speak up and Speak out.

Switching desks

With our office being in our room, we decided to change it up a bit. Having two desks, a dresser, two storage containers, a queen size bed ( Use to have a California king) is kind of cramming our room to the point we cannot access our drawers to the dresser without moving the bed a little and our room is just packed and cannot add anything else.

I am planning on trying to rearrange everything to try to fit better but I am not sure which way to go as of yet.

We pretty much have to squeeze by my chair to get out if I am using it but when I am not we can get out just fine. Like there is a path from the door to the desks and to the bed but that is it.

Our house is old and does not have a master bedroom at all so we picked the one we felt was the biggest one and made it work.

We currently have the Stary electric standing desk  in which I love but after awhile it is time for something different. These desks are nice to have but instead of having two desks, we are deciding on getting one desk that fits two people that way we have a little bit more room because these desks stick out a little to far then the desks we had prior.

The desk we decided to go with is TVU 95" 2 Person Desk with 8 Drawers, in which it fits well with the area we have instead of sticking out like the Stray electric standing desk. With this desk we have a little bit more room to be able to change up things.

Movies and TV shows while recovering

Due to my surgery and healing, I had time to watch some movies and series.

I found a handful of series and movies that I liked and a handful that I did not like.

Stress is bad for you!

If you stress and worry over everything or every little, then your body will become chronically ill over some time and it is not a good thing at all. It can make you really sick and drained and your body will turn on you.

It will make you have a weak immune system, inflammation, disrupt your hormones, cause heart disease, digestive disorders, serve depression and anxiety including diabetes. You will always live in fight or flight and your body will stay in survival mode. You will also end up having am I doing something wrong questions.

The dreams that you get from this, will also stress you out. Everything you dream about will seem so real and it will send you into a panic attack and a anxiety attack making things even worst. I live like this and lived like this and it gets worst as you go.

Eventually you are going to have to find the cause of what is causing you to stress and eventually you are going to have to face your fears. Even if it is reoccurring dreams or you seeing things that triggers you you are going to have to do it.

Life is more than stressing. Life is beautiful once you get out of survival mode.

Figure a way to deal with your stress before it figures a way to deal with you. Hospitalization is no fun and it can be weeks before you get to go home. After that your body will not go back to normal. You're stuck being chronically ill if you let it go for so long.

I personally used Stress relief and it worked for me until I stopped taking it and my thoughts were overpowering me.

Habit stress is what I took and let me tell you, I could tell a difference with it and it actually helped me. I no longer felt like I had to be on fight or flight mode or on auto pilot. I felt like I could breathe again and life was not as bad as my mind made it seem. The only reason I stopped taking them was because no Walmart around me carried them anymore just like a handful of other things.

If you want to try to get your stress under control, try some supplements.

Elite Gourmet EBM8103M Programmable Bread Maker Machine

I decided to get a bread maker, I have been looking at one for a long while but with the recent snow storm and when people hear the words SNOW; they panic buy up all the bread, the milk, cheese and other things as if we are never going to be able to get out and the snow will never melt. They also act this way when there is a hurricane or some other storm that comes along.

I can never grasp why people grab up  multiples of everything and when someone else needs it or goes looking for it, it is not there. There were some elderly people looking for bread and other things they need and ended up grabbing what they could.

The bread maker that I decided to get was Elite Gourmet EBM8103M Programmable Bread Maker Machine. It pretty much does everything on its own. It can make up to 2 pounds of bread. It also has 15-HOUR DELAY TIMER and a 60-minute Keep Warm function so you can control how it makes.

It can make Gluten Free breads, sweet, French, whole wheat, rye, rice and 13 other different breads. This bread maker can automates kneading, rising, and baking and has 19 preset menus for various breads, doughs, cakes, jams, and yogurt It can make up 19 different types. It can also prepare dough for pizza, focaccia bread, or cinnamon rolls so it is multiuse.

I also am looking at bread  storages. There are boxes, plastic bags, reusable bees wax bags and a few other things to keep your breads fresh.

Alice in Borderlands Netflix exclusive series

Alice in Borderlands is kind of like squid games but different. This one you are playing against all of the face cards such as the queen, king, Joker. This is based off of a manga!

The players end up going to a different universe so to say that is empty of the human race except the contestants. It pretty much is a mirror world of the place they are from.

The ones that are in the borderlands are pretty much ones that are trying to die and or in coma and are stuck in the borderlands or limbo and they have to play games to come back or they could choose to die.

If someone failed or lose the game, they end up getting killed but if they try to leave the borderland or go out of bounds, they get struck by a laser from the sky.

There are some real tear jerkers in this series and it will have you feeling some kind of way.

There are 3 seasons on it and honestly they are so good! If you like Squid Games then you will like this one too because it is pretty much identical. The players have to play the games and try to survive and after a while, once they win their games they can end up voting to become a resident of that world or go home.

In season three there are new games and the ones that ended up going home ended up being questioned about the games that they have played and the things that they seen. Some people do not remember but others do remember and feel as if something is not right. There are two teams playing two different games unlike the others where they all play one game.

Most of the survivors ended up going back to the borderlands while other did not. It is like those that remembered are the ones that ended up going back in season three and those that did not didn't go back. Season three pretty much explains everything and it was just so good.

I highly recommend watching this series!

They are trying to make a spin off of it and instead of making Season 4 in Japan it is coming to the US which would be neat.

Amazifit devices

Are you looking for Smart tech that helps assist your health? Amazifit is perfect! They have Rings and Watches to help you keep track of your fitness, health and more!

If you do not like the watch faces, they do have a device called Strap that pretty much does the same but you have to look at your phone to see your tracking unlike the watches with the face.

They have square watches and round watches in which I love the square watches because they are lighter than the round ones. They also have different styles and colored watches to choose from and I love that because everyone has their own styles that they like. You can also buy bands from them.

Right now they are having a sale! from 2/01-20/16 that gives you up to 26% off of the products.
