Mackenzie Shirilla Documentaries

The documentary The Crash has reignited a massive public debate, and you can currently piece together the full story across three different platforms. 

On Netflix, it is titled The Crash; on ID, it’s an episode of Mean Girl Murders called "Under the Influence"; and A&E covers it in Killer Cases as "Murder on Wheels." 

Each production offers a different lens, though many viewers feel the Netflix version is highly edited, while the other two provide a much deeper look into the forensic evidence that secured her conviction.

To many, this is becoming the next "Gypsy Rose" case—a narrative where a young woman convicted of a violent crime enters the media cycle for fame. Even from what I seen of a screenshot Gypsy Rose Blanchard herself reportedly weighed in on social media, telling Mackenzie that she needs to "grow up and take accountability" instead of focusing on the spotlight. Much like the Blanchard case, this story is currently dominating TikTok. While the crash happened in 2022, it has only reached this level of "true crime stardom" now due to the Netflix release and the release of new prison interviews.

For those who haven't seen the trial documents, the details are chilling. On the morning of the crash, Mackenzie Shirilla was driving her Toyota Camry with her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and their friend, Davion Flanagan. Data from the car’s "black box" revealed that she accelerated to 100 mph in the seconds before impact. Testimony and forensic evidence suggested a frantic struggle inside the car: the boys were reportedly trying to shift the car into park, but Mackenzie allegedly used her body to pin the gearshift so they could only reach neutral before she slammed it back into drive.

Investigators found no evidence of braking before she hit the brick building. Furthermore, reports surfaced that neither boy was wearing a seatbelt and that Davion was positioned on top of Dominic, suggesting they may have been desperately trying to stop her or exit the vehicle. The motive remains the biggest mystery—many speculate it was a premeditated murder-suicide attempt because she was "obsessed" with Dominic, but Mackenzie maintains she simply lost control.

Despite the brutality of the crime, she was sentenced to 15 years to life. Because her two murder sentences are running concurrently (at the same time), many believe she received a much lighter punishment than a typical defendant would have. As the documentaries continue to trend, the public remains divided on whether Mackenzie is a victim of a tragic accident or a calculated killer seeking a second act in the spotlight.

Selling photos seems like a handful of Cons

Let me just say, if you are looking for quick cash and trying to sell your photos, photography is not it. 

It takes a while for photos to sell due to the market being so saturated and everyone doing it. This is not a main job this is a side gig and hustle and it will take years for you to generate anything if you actually do at all.

I have my photos published on Shutterstock, Adobestock, Dreamstine and I feel like I am not being seen. I have had photos up since 2017 and I only sold my first sets in 2021, 2022 and 2025 and that was it. I only made like $1.19 and that was it. Keep in mind it takes $25.00 for payout here.

On Shutterstock a lot of my photos are under data licensing and they will not show up on Shutterstock but on other networks which sucks because they don't show up on my page or portfolio for others to buy.

On Adobestock, they only accepted so many photos and I only made $1.25 and that was around 2018. It takes about. It takes $25.00 to get cashed out.

500px I have yet to make anything and some of the commenter are bots trying to scam using telegram. Also on the free plan you can up load 21 photos a week.

Dreamstime, I have not sold anything there and it takes about $100 to get paid out.

Viewbug I don't have it set up to sale because it feels like a hassle and on the free plan you can only upload 5 photos a week.

I started putting my photos on my ko-fi shop hoping someone could see my photos and I can get some sales but unfortunately it came to the same outcome.

Don't get me wrong, I love photography. I love capturing the nature it's my passion and hopefully one day I can get another DSLR due to having to sell it in 2025 after having it since 2017.

The long road of freelancing | My view

 Being a freelancer is not for the weak. It takes a lot of time, and effort to get yourself know and then when you think you have you footing anything and everything can knock you off so do not get to cocky. 

I am a freelancer but I am also an affiliate marketer and when I tell you I have done this for 9 years let me just say there were a lot of roads that I had to travel and a lot of ropes that I had to grab quickly. A lot of people are affiliate marketing so do not be surprised when you make barely anything from it.

 Also watch contracts with companies because sometimes you do not make nothing but change. It takes a lot of dedication and thinking to create blog post, social media posts and try to entice people to buy things. It is not easy to do and  you have to be creative and find a lot of places to be seen. I currently use Tumblr, reddit, BlueSky, twitter(X) and Facebook, Pinterest to be seen. I also used Quora but they banned my first account and I do not feel like remaking it. I had a lot of wondering why it isn't working a lot of what ifs, a lot of questions and a lot of frustration but eventually it worked out but it is not always steady and not always certain. Be sure to use tags on social media to pull your audience and get seen more.

 What I am trying to say is be sure you have multiple modes and sources of income. Do not quit your main job thinking this is going to take flight instantly. Not saying it cannot but it does take a long time for it to do anything.

Charles, your lunch is ready! Dinner at the parkers | Tubi Movie

Let me just say, this is a Tubi movie starring, you guessed it Mrs Netta and Charles. It honestly is a true Tubi movie. 

I seen bits of pieces on Tiktok and could not believe it but here it is so I decided to watch it.

The acting is not the greatest and there seems to be no kind of script except Netta's grandma died and she took out a life insurance policy and no one knew about it. 

The granny is pretty much like a ventriloquist. If there was some kind of structure and a little bit more planned out and the acting was tightened up it would not of been as bad as it was. The acting needs to be a lot more than what it is.

 It feels like it is more of a YouTube video and a talking video instead of a movie. There is a lot of lack of emotions also and makes it feel as if it is throwed together or rushed.  

The "Ventriloquist" Granny and Technical Chaos The plot supposedly centers on a family matriarch passing away and leaving behind a secret life insurance policy, but the production value is the real story here. The "grandmother" character appears to be wearing a Spirit Halloween mask; her body moves, but her mouth remains frozen while a mismatched voice-over plays. It’s less Soul Food and more "ventriloquist horror."

The technical blunders don't stop there. Ring lights are visible in the window reflections, the audio fluctuates between whispers and ear-splitting peaks, and "smoke effects" for a burnt dinner look like they were added in a free smartphone app.

The part where Netta appears lacks so much especially when she is trying to figure out who the girl is taking care of her grandmother. 

In the beginning and end—scenes clearly shot much later to pad the runtime—the main character "Netta" (played by Joe Robinson) is wearing the exact same outfit but is missing the wig. In a final slip-up that truly defines the production, another character actually calls her "Joe" on camera, and they just... kept it in the final cut.

Inscripted-feeling dialogue and the romance that materializes out of nowhere, Dinner at the Parkers feels like a viral skit that accidentally became a feature film. It’s "trash" in the most entertaining way possible—a 1.3/10 that you have to see to believe, but you’ll definitely want your 51 minutes back afterward.

The sound effects are also eh. The screaming for excitement does not even match.

Nash/ mash non alcoholic steatohepatitis

 NASH or MASH (metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis) is nonalcoholic steatohepatitis of the liver.

 It is where the body stores so much fat in the liver that it is called fatty liver disease and it causes a lot of pain of not careful along with nausea. 

With this you have to change up your diet so eating things like salmon, good fatty fish and things with good healthy fats, Mediterranean diet lean fat protein, foods with fiber and exercise is attempt to get rid of it. Anything that helps with anti-inflammatory also helps along with green tea, black tea, and coffee. Steer clear of juices, sodas and dairy.

This can also happen if you eat a lot of red fatty meat or fried foods and sugary drinks or if you have an metabolic disorder. With all my health disorders I completely understand how I got here. I also had half a T-bone steak and it threw me for a whirl.

One thing they do not tell you about it is your body can and will become super itchy and crawling and nothing you do will help it not even over the counter Benadryl. 

This itch will not show up into a rash at all. It will be like an allergen to your soaps and as if you have dry itchy skin. I tried lotion thinking it was that and it did not help either. It can start in the bottom of your soles and then hands and it can give you a burning feeling. 

 They tell you that it cannot be your liver because you don't have the jaundice eyes or the bright yellow eyes but it truly can. I been through this multiple times but this time it was worse. Always advocate for yourself because you know your body better than anyone.

 I even washed in Aveeno itch relief wash and it helped a little bit the anti itch creams did nothing to help at all. My body was all over itching and it happened a lot at night and occasionally during the day. 

I thought I gotten into one of my allergens but no it wasn't that. I thought it was my chair because the faux leather was pealing exposing what's under it so I got a new one and apparently it was not that either. 

It originally started with 100% polyester pants and true body wash in so I thought but I stopped using it and it never went away. It only got worse. 

**TMI WARNING** I ended up going to the hospital for the itching and found out when I got home after the CT cleared that I have fatty liver, an inflamed spleen and constipation and cyst on my ovaries and this whole combination is causing a great amount of pain but luckily I drunk some probiotic juices and teas and no longer constipated. 

After finding that out and them giving me an allergy cocktail I no longer itch however I am now in pain again and watching what I eat because nothing is helping it and it feels like it's in attack and it swells out to the point you can see it which is horrible.
