The struggle of being used Family edition

So my aunt and her whole house is sick. They have coughing, sneezing, wheezing, fevers, chills and she has diarrhea.  My aunt ended up going to the hospital due to her leg turning purple. They said her family is going through sinuses and not COVID or anything. Another thing she thinks they are thinking is that her leg is septic or it became back infected again.

We unfortunately are who they call on when they need something and honestly it feels like it has been never ending because they always need something because I feel bad but however I am tired of doing it. This is the thing with having a big heart and trying to help people. It ends up making you burned out and putting stress on you. It can even run you into the ground and break you.

Months ago we where needed because she had to go to the ER and stayed for a month due to an infection in her leg and I was cooking and bring them plates and food every day so they could eat not just them but their son too he was at home and then their daughter stayed with us for about 2-3 months every weekend it felt.

This all started in 2025ish when they had to move and then she had to quit her job due to her health in the end of 2025 beginning of 2026 and they became dependent on us to try to help them.

First I was fine with it. I didn't want nothing bad to happen to them but then my husband started getting worst with his gout flare ups and his kidney disease turned into stage three and it put a lot on us with him trying to juggle basically 2 houses. It started with small things.

We helped them get their house up to code, helped them with a little bit here there then bought them kerosene to help heat the place and then we were asked for money who they can get food repeatedly and monthly and go to the store. I'm not complaining about that but it was putting a strain.

We told them about remote jobs and it never came to that it was always us being called as if we don't have a life to live. I felt sorry at the beginning but now I'm overly exhausted and I finally got over the first time but here it comes again and I refuse to do it this time and do all this running back and forth.

They got themselves straightened out while it feels like I have to do stuff to get the money back we helped them out with and that is not right at all. They did not even offer to pay.

My mother and father are at feud with them for my mother going behind my father's back and giving them money to move on.

My husband is supposed to start his Krystexxa treatments around the beginning of October however we may have to push it back due to him having auto immune issues and we could be sick from having to get things for their house.  He is also trying to work as much as he can because we already know with his health and Krystexxa his job won't hold it for him since Krystexxa is 2 days every two weeks and he also has gout flare ups and they are cracking down in which is why I am trying to promote and market as much as I can because he is going to need more help.

Another thing is that they get a check from him and the daughter prior to all of this because he is disabled and now she has her disability going and all I hear is about is back pay and how much they get a month and I watch them by all these things that they could not afford but now suddenly can afford.

I'm tired and I'm exhausted and drained.

Beyond the Can: Why Frost Buddy’s Mugs, Cups, and Bottles Are Taking Over

When Frost Buddy first burst onto the scene, they revolutionized how we drink a cold beer or seltzer on a hot day. But if you think they only make can coolers, you’re missing out on half the lineup.

From your morning iced coffee run to all-day hydration at the gym, Frost Buddy has engineered a vacuum-insulated solution for virtually every drink in your hand.

Get your frost buddy here!

Here is a look at why people are expanding their collections beyond the classic can cooler to embrace the full Frost Buddy ecosystem.

1. The To-Go Buddy (Your Iced Coffee’s New Best Friend)

  • The Problem: You buy an iced coffee or a fast-food fountain drink, and within 20 minutes, the ice melts, your drink is watered down, and condensation is soaking your car's cup holder.

  • The Solution: The To-Go Buddy acts as a universal sleeve and tumbler that fits standard small, medium, and large paper or plastic to-go cups. You literally drop your whole coffee cup straight into it—no pouring required—keeping your drink ice-cold for 24+ hours without a single drop of condensation.

2. The Bottle Buddy & Water Bottles

  • The Problem: Standard reusable water bottles are either hard to clean, don't fit in car cup holders, or lose their chill too quickly.

  • The Solution: Available in multiple sizes (like 16oz, 24oz, and 32oz) with straw lids and chug caps, Bottle Buddies bring that same heavy-duty, double-wall vacuum insulation to your daily water intake. They are completely leak-proof, cup-holder friendly, and come in hundreds of eye-catching patterns and sports team licenses.

3. The Mug Buddy & Thicc Buddy Tumblers

  • The Problem: You want a cozy morning mug for hot coffee or a massive 40oz+ tumbler for all-day hydration, but you hate carrying multiple brands of drinkware.

  • The Solution: The Mug Buddy brings handle-equipped comfort to hot or cold brews, while the massive Thicc Buddy (available in 40oz and 50oz sizes) rivals other viral giant tumblers on the market—with the added bonus of Frost Buddy's signature durability and wild aesthetic designs.

Why People Are Switching to an All-Frost-Buddy Routine

  • One Brand for Every Drink: Instead of having a mishmash of random travel mugs, cheap koozies, and mismatched water bottles crowding your cabinets, you can have a matching set for every beverage occasion.

  • Style Meets Function: With everything from sleek solid glitz finishes to officially licensed collegiate gear and pop-culture prints (like Coca-Cola and Ghostbusters), they double as fashion accessories.

  • Built for Abuse: Just like their original can coolers, these cups and bottles are engineered to be thrown into gym bags, taken onto boats, and dropped on hiking trails without denting or leaking.

Frost Buddy stopped being "just a koozie company" a long time ago. Whether you're fueling up with morning coffee, hydrating at work, or kicking back with a cold drink on the weekend, having a lineup that covers cans, cups, and bottles makes it a one-stop shop for hydration.

Krystexxa for gout

Krystexxa is an infusion that they give for gout. However it is not your normal infusion.

For starters you have to take a steroid and an allergy med before you can even start the infusion because it can send you into allergic response.

You also have 2 days out of every two weeks you have to go for this. One day is for blood work for uric acid the next day is for the infusion. It is given while you are at the facility.

If you did not know Krystexxa can pretty much give you a severe allergic reaction and they have a lot of precautions for it. They start giving you Methotrexate 4 weeks prior to help with the immune systems to avoid reactions.

There are things that they do not tell you about this. Such as it may or may not be beneficial to you. It takes a while for the insurance to even touch and clear it if they do. It cost 30,000 to $35,000 per 8 mg single-dose via but with the doctors and nurses and the facility it costs 135k-150k each time.

It takes joint stiffness start to leave in 24 hours. You can end up having even worst flareups within that time period.

The bad part some of the flare ups can last up to a month and a lot of people report no flare ups.

A lot of people also report it may work it may not work.

If they draw the uric acid that determines if it works or does not work or if its even worth continuing.

The first visit it could show an effect but the second visit it could of not work so it is a toss up.

My husband has finally gotten approved for this but we already know his job is going to let him go because of everything so I am trying to find ways to make money on the side while I am taking care of him and our kids and homeschooling them.

He still battles with  Rheumatoid arthritis, gout, kidney disease osteoarthritis so this may or may not help him the way they say it is.

Judging a book by its cover | AI history

The publishing world is currently grappling with a massive ethical divide over artificial intelligence, particularly when it comes to book cover art. You see the sentiment everywhere online: readers flat-out declaring they will boycott any book featuring an AI-generated cover.Yet, there is a fascinating irony in this backlash. Many readers who fiercely reject AI imagery may not realize just how deeply integrated digital tools, algorithmic design, and machine learning have been in the creative industries for decades. A lot of those that give backlash are the same ones who uses AI to make those cute little images or add and remove things from photos let along with snapping pictures, our phones have AI built into them and the camera system to give that cute little photo.

AI is everywhere and just because some one uses it does not give the right to judge.

A lot of people like myself are self published meaning we are trying to do things ourselves and have no funds to have covers done however I know a thing or two about photo-shop from photography but still don't judge the book by its cover because if you do you will miss out on the story on the inside. Give the books a chance. I have multiple books that have not sold and probably will go unread and its the books I have the most time and feel like they should. We go through a lot being self published and one thing is our books going unseen, unnoticed and unread while everyone else is going for them.

Check out my books here!

The Historical Reality of "AI" in Art Artificial intelligence is not a brand-new invention that dropped out of nowhere last year. The field itself was officially founded at the Dartmouth Workshop back in 1956, and precursors and foundational concepts stretch even further back. While generative image models like Midjourney or DALL-E exploded into public view around 2022, machine learning algorithms and automated digital processes have quietly powered graphic design software for well over a decade.

How Traditional and Big-Name Publishers Make Covers Major publishing houses have rarely relied on traditional painters working with canvas and oil for every single title. For years, big authors and major presses have used digital ecosystems that rely heavily on automated and algorithmic efficiencies:

  • Stock Photography Platforms: Massive image libraries like Shutterstock and Adobe Stock utilize advanced machine learning to tag, categorize, and even generate composite recommendations for millions of photos used on bestselling paperbacks.

  • Digital Manipulation and Automation: Programs like Adobe Photoshop have long incorporated AI-driven features—such as content-aware fill, automated masking, and neural filters—to speed up the design process for human artists.

  • Outsourced and Rapid Production: Even before generative tools, tight publishing deadlines meant cover designers relied on digital shortcuts, pre-made 3D mockups, and templated software to push hundreds of titles out the door each season.

Why Readers Draw the Line Today The resistance isn't necessarily about the technology existing; it is about authorship, consent, and compensation. When readers push back against AI-generated covers, they are usually protesting the displacement of human illustrators and graphic designers whose portfolios were often scraped without permission to train modern neural networks. Traditional digital art tools assist a human creator, whereas current generative AI replaces the human creator in the decision-making loop.

Understanding this history helps us navigate the current debate with more nuance. The issue isn't that technology is touching art—technology has been doing that since the invention of the printing press and digital design software. The real friction point is the ethics of labor and copyright in the modern era.

Bloating Starts With What You Put Into Your Body

Have you ever finished a meal and suddenly felt uncomfortable, full, or bloated? Bloating can happen for many different reasons, including what we eat, how much we eat, how our bodies digest food, hydration, and our individual digestive systems.

While there isn't one solution that works for everyone, making better choices throughout the day can be a great place to start.

Give Your Digestion Some Support

One option to consider is digestive enzymes. Digestive enzymes help break down the foods we eat so our bodies can process and absorb nutrients.

Adding fiber to your routine can also help support regular bowel movements. If constipation is something you occasionally deal with, getting enough fiber and fluids throughout the day is important.

If you're looking for digestive support, check out Physician's Choice Digestive Enzymes:

Don't Forget Hydration

Hydration is another important part of taking care of your body. Water is essential, but sometimes you want something with a little more flavor.

That's where loaded teas can be a fun addition to your routine. Depending on the product and ingredients, loaded teas can provide vitamins and other nutrients while giving you a flavorful drink option.

Build A Routine That Works For You

Taking care of your body isn't about finding one magic product. It's about the everyday choices you make.

Supporting digestion, getting enough fiber, staying hydrated, and choosing drinks that fit your lifestyle can all be part of a balanced routine.

For me, these three products are worth checking out:
