What really grinds my gears is when people complain nonstop about being broke, and then turn right around and flaunt their money. They’ll talk big, acting like big shots, saying things like, "If so-and-so sees this, they’ll tell me to get one, and they’ll buy one too."
I honestly don’t get it. You sit there crying about not having any cash, and then five minutes later you’re acting like a baller when you really don't got it. It’s all smoke and mirrors, and it makes zero sense.
Personally, I couldn’t care less what people have or how much money is in their bank account. That doesn’t bother me at all. Everyone's journey is different. What makes me mad is when people just talk to hear themselves talk, bragging and flashing cash when they know full well that others are struggling and just trying to get by.
To top it off, they love to throw shade at people who can't afford to blow money on every little trend or thing. They act smug and talk down to folks who are actually being responsible—people who are prioritizing their bills, keeping the lights on, and making sure their household is taken care of. It’s like these braggarts completely forget what real life looks like when you have a family, a home, and actual grown-up responsibilities to look after.
At the end of the day, real wealth isn't about putting on a show for social media or acting like a big spender while your foundation is crumbling. Give me peace of mind, paid bills, and a secure home over fake flexing any day of the week.
