We always thought we would have it altogether but life has other plans and then you end up needing to make some kind of fundraiser to get funding.
Trust me, I know. I was once there like now but then its companies like these that disable your campaign due to inactivity even though you share it around to everywhere and everyone and no one donates but they tell you to share, share, share and it doesn't matter how much you share it around, you don't get the help you need then you are left in a bind. I hate companies like these. Some of them are not out to help people but are out to help themselves by taking a percentage and pocketing it.
I hate how a person can get donations to get a computer because their home flooded or whatever happened but a person cannot get help with medical bills or housing because life is lifing and things happen. This world is a messed up place.
Then you have those who judge and act like they have never fallen on hard times. A single mother asks for help with housing but then asks the mother if she has a job and how bills get paid when yeah she has a job but in this day and economy, a job is not enough. It takes about 2-3 jobs to even stay afloat, let alone if she needs child care and other essentials.
The point is, life is hard. Do not judge others because of what they are going through you never know when it is going to be you that is needing a hand up.
Not to mention there are a bunch of scammers going around claiming they will share you gofundme and other fundraising to help bring you views and "actual donaters when they do not. They try to give you a fiverr link to a person and just make money off of you. Watch out for these people they are scammers and want to try to "help rewrite your stuff so it is SEO optimized" which helps nothing.
