Krystexxa update

He is not able to do Krystexxa at the moment because the doctor didn't prescribe the immuno modulator medication needed to help prevent severe allergic reactions.

He was supposed to take it for two weeks before going in for the infusion, but due to his allergy concerns, he and his Krystexxa rep decided it was best to hold off until they figure out what is going on.

The guidelines state that everyone is supposed to have some kind of immuno modulator for it, but his doctor said he doesn't need it. That completely stumped the rep, who said that isn't right and that it's meant to be a safety measure "just in case."

The rep mentioned they only skip the immuno modulator when something is actually wrong, but the doctor didn't explain anything to us other than saying they will give steroids and Benadryl at the appointment. However, they do that for everyone—it is not the same thing as the immuno modulator blocker.

So the rep is trying to figure out what to do and we are calling back and forth to the doctor to see if they will give him the immuno modulator.

We finally got down to it it is because his Humeria is an immuno modulator is the reason why he he has not given him one but when we were asking he did not mention anything about it.

It is just a mess.
