Me being me and having server allergies every year and developing new allergies, I have spent most of life on it since Claritin never worked on me. Luckily it gave me relief but lately, I have noticed if you stop taking it or tapper off of it then you start itching.
Me not knowing this is a new side effect now, I thought it was just me being allergic to something new and developing new allergies in which yes that has happen to me.
One day, I was laying in bed and suddenly I started itching from no where. I thought it was my soaps, my bed sheets, my wash that I wash my clothes in but no, it was the cetirizine. I have developed rashes on my arms not sur where they were coming from. I also developed red rashes and everything else thinking it was something else but no it was my allergy meds all alone.
I have found out, this is not just me having this. A lot of people are dealing with this.
So as of now I have stopped my Cetirizine and now taking benadryl for the itching I got from Zyrtec. I am probably going to switch to Allegra.
